My daughter's poem

Los Angeles

The home of Disneyland where dreams come true.
Oh, I love that place, the rides so colorful and sky so blue.
The famous Hollywood sign, each letter planted into the brown, rocky hills.
Now this is Los Angeles from my point of view:

The warm air shifting the beautiful, tall palm trees side to side,
The clear, gorgeous, orange clouds as the sun slowly starts to hide.
But what makes this city so special?
My relatives that keep the city alive.

Zachary and Ellie, the most adorable cousins, never fail to make me smile.
They make the whole trip worth while.
There’s also my beloved grandparents,
They’re so fit, I bet they could run a mile.

My Aunt Yuri, my Uncle Gary,
They’re so nice it makes me wary.
“I LOVE LOS ANGELES”
I’ve never been to a place that makes me so merry.

I’ve realized a long time ago
that this isn’t a myth:
It’s not where you are,
it’s the people you’re with.

Olive Garden

Our neighbor Jaeha and Sue are leaving for Korea... We will miss them!  We decided to get together one more time before they leave.

I got chicken Marsala

Everyone had a good time!
