Here are some things I did in Davis.
1. Sunflower Field
After dropping the boys off, I head toward the sunflower field, it was around 7:45am and sun has been out, I got to see the long shadow of mine and the gorgeous sunflower field on highway 80.
I was very excited to see so many sunflowers smiling at me early in the morning.
2. Temple Coffee Roasters
I've been wanting to try temple coffee roasters and this was my chance.
I got a mocha
and later came back and got a raspberry almond muffin, all their muffins are vegan or gluten free and delicous!
3. UC Davis Arboretum
Since I am not a student, and it's a weekday, and I didn't want to pay for parking, I ask the barista at Temple where to park when visit Arboretum, she suggested the old Whole Foods (closed) Parking lot. It was perfect because once you parked, you walked through this Shovel Gateway.
Portions of Arboretum is under construction, so I bypassed this area. It will be completed in Fall! can't wait.
4. Redwood Grove, Arboretum
Did I tell you how cute the squirrel in Davis is? They are not afraid of you at all.
Also spotted some baby turkeys.
Then I discovered Lovelock bridge in Arboretum <3 p="">

8. Manetti Shrem Museum with Monica
Deborah Butterfield's horse sculpture- this is the 3rd horse sculpture by her I've seen. The other two are in Cantor museum and google campus.

Then we head toward Monica's apartment where she is packing to move out.
10. Picked up the boys and head back home
