Stanford Stroll

 Nice stroll at Stanford University including the cactus garden, stone river, Richard Serra’s sculpture (looks like we’re in Antelope Canyon), Rodin sculptures, Memorial church, Hoover tower, love the palm trees lined streetthankful for the beautiful weather.

A day in Napa Valley

 Napa Valley, the world's famous wine growing region. On our recent trip there, we added Yountville to our visit. 

The day started off with a visit to Model Bakery. Located next to Oxbow Public Market and has been around for 90 years, we tried their famous English muffin, which is named Oprah's favorite things for 2016, and 2017. 

Then we went for a 10 mile bike ride by the beautiful vineyards and wineries

After biking, we drove to Yountville and stopped by The French Laundry culinary garden.

Then it's time for our Bottega lunch reservation.

Of course I had to try their famous Sophia Loren pasta, a simple tomato basil pasta; we also try their octopus salad and charcuterie dish. 

Afterwards, we did a quick stop at Far Niete Winery for their ginkgo tree lined street and ended our wonderful day~
