Day 9 Essaouria day trip 4/8/25 (Tuesday)
Paul is not feeling well, so he stayed in the Riad to recover….
- I went on my own to the seaside of Morocco (Essaouria) on this day
- Essaouria is coastal seaside town in Morocco, very charming with a fishing port, and medina
Mustafa is my guide and Hamid is the driver
- We stopped to look for goat climbing argan trees; but as the locals say, they don't naturally climb up the tree, people actually put them up there for photos... I did see them standing up eating Aragon nuts
- Buy Argan oil and pricky pear oil at a women's coop - both good for skin and hair
- Essaouria is a peaceful seaside town; I explored the Medina and had fish fresh cooked at the fish market and saw the beach- listen to music at the square before heading back with the van.
