Trip to Taiwan Day 5-7 Bike Tour!

 DAY#5 (10/19)   Bike tour! Hualien East Rift Valley Cycling tour

I signed up for a East Rift Valley Cyclying tour in Taiwan awhile back.

Day 1 is 26km bike through danongdafu forest park with a stop of popsicle at sugar cane factory and lunch at a local restaurant

1st day was a good start! There were 2 cars following us. Snacks at the 1st car

DAY#6 (10/20)   Bike tour day 2

Most difficult day 60KM-- the most I ever ride in one day... It was challenging... mentally and physically... In the rain, cloud, and sun....

We stayed overnight at the farm resort

DAY#7 (10/21)  Day 3 40km Most beautiful day in the rice fields!

 Bike tour ends Guanshan train station- go to Kaohsiung Marriott

What a wonderful challenge! Bucket-list check.

Trip to Taiwan Day 4

 Day #4 (10/18) Le Meridien Haulien

We had some time this morning before travel to Haulien so we decided to visit Tamsui old street

Then we took a train from Taipei station to Haulien

What a beautiful hotel with a view!

The hotel is pretty empty due to recent earthquake.... I Went for swimming… lock inside the ladies room 😅

Thank goodness I was rescued by the front desk. Went to sauna

Haulien night market - dinner... squid, watermelon drink, ice cream with cilantro

Then we check out the rooftop bar with view to end the night.
