Orienteering is an event that you run in the woods with a map and compass to locate series of points on the map. You have a e-stick that they give you, then you find the controls and put the stick in it indicating you visited the location. At the end of competition, whoever gets the most of the controls with the least of time wins! We went to this event last Sunday at Briones Park. It was tiring and lots of fun! Here are some pictures!
