White House Black Market

I saw some dress online for sale and called the store.  The girl answered the phone seemed very helpful! She said she would look for my size and called me back.  She called and placed on hold.
So I decided to venture out the Valley Fair today to shop for a dress for the cruise!
I tried on a few dresses...
I got compliment from 2 customers that were there trying on dresses for a wedding.
She says "you looked good on all the dresses" How nice!
I said "Thank you!"
Guess which dress I brought?

Ramen House Ryowa

Butter Corn Ramen is what I had today!
Paul and I love noodle soup, so when we saw no line on a Friday night at Ryowa, we grab the seat right away.  The soup is so warm and tasty.  We also shared their special fried chicken :)

The life of taro bread

Evelyn brought taro bread from 85C in Irvine... It's what I've been waiting for... Ever since Monica told me about it during the summer, I've been wanting to go and tried it.
It is so soft and fluffy...
It's perfect with almond milk.
On bite and I'm in heaven.
It's going...
Going...

Gone...
Now I'm planning to visit in December myself... can't wait!

Back to school

I had a hot oatmeal and coffee this morning! I added almond butter and sour cream on oatmeal and it tastes yummy! Then I mixed opc3 and orac for everyone and said goodbye to Monica.

Then I said goodbye to Timothy.
I got him this bike at Off Ramp last week and he is looking sharp.  Can't believe the old bike is soooo small.

It's going to be a hot day!! back to school, back to routine!

Emeryville Day 2

The next day we had CPR training. We got Jamba Juice for breakfast!
This lecture is not as bad as yesterday. (shorter)
We had to give dummie 2 breaths and 30 chest compressions!!! so tiring!
After we take the test, it was time to say good bye for the training.
Cynthia and I decided to eat lunch at Powderface, a place that Nichole recommends in Oakland.
We had turkey sandwich and I brought their famous beignets. Yum!

Emeryville Day 1

My company paid for my stay in Emeryville!
It was a looooong day! We had immunization training with Vicki.  The slides were so long and.... boring.
But I manage to take notes.  In the afternoon, I give 2 IM shots and 1 SC shot to my partner Christine and she did the same thing to me.  It was actually easlier than I thought.  At the end, we all had to take the test and call it the day.
Since it was still day light, Cynthia and I decided to shop at the outside mall close by. I brought a pair of sandals and had a latte at barnes and noble.
That night, Theo and Vic took Cynthia and I to Bocanova, it is located in Jack London Square.

Our first course with wine :)
The we dare each other to try Menudo.... Next thing we know, the manager offer us to try it for free!
I liked it, but I think it requires an acquired taste bud like me :-)
After a while, all the courses came at once.  We all shared.
Good nite!

After missed our flight with Mexicana and had to stay an extra day in Mexico City, I was tired and had to work the same day.  A good thing is that when I walk into work, I saw this...

Cancun Moon Palace Day 6

Today we took the jungle tour. We woke up earlly and took a private bus to the site.. Just as we were about to get into the speed boats, it started pouring!!! It was like we took a shower. The speed boats were awesome, we went super fast and flee in the air from hitting the waves.  I couldn't see because of the rain, and Monica kept on telling me "Go Faster, mommy"...
Then we went snorkeling. The water was so salty. we saw lots of fish.

When we came back, we got some lunch and I went kayaking with Monica
Then the kids were on their own while the adults went to lobster dinner cruise.

Dinner starts with champagne
Melon soup
Lobster and steak
And dessert.
