Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco in 7 days

Arrived in Lima from SFO and checked in to Dazzler in Lima. This is the view from our room.







 This morning we decided to explore the love park. It has nice mosaic tiles and people exercising and parasailing and nice views of the ocean.


Then we walked to La Mar for lunch, where the famous ceviche is served in Lima



Afterwards we got picked up the our guide for a city tour!


 Here we are at the city plaza. We went to the museum as well as Convent Santa Dominqo, where the church has a rich history. It also has a tower you can climb to see the view of the city.







 After the tour, we got dropped by the water fountain of Lima. It was beautiful, especially at night.




The next day we said goodbye to Lima and is on our way to Cusco and Sacred Valley.
Checked into Aranwa Hotel. It's has such a beautiful grounds with animals, i feel like i was transported to somewhere magical!

 Coca tea to prevent altitude sickness.

Next morning we had to tour of Sacred Valley and Pisac market.








After lunch, we went to Ollantaytambo



Then we took tuk tuk to the train station.


Took the train to Aquas Calientes where we checked into Inkaterra El Pueblo

The next day we woke up early at 4:30am for Machu Picchu

There were long line to the bus

Then we arrived!!! Tour of Machu Picchu with Hamilton was awesome, we learned a lot of history, culture, and politics.









Then we took the vista dome train back to Cusco.

We stayed at El Mercado hotel in Cusco. This next morning, I had juice, hot chocolate with coffee, potatoes, and bacon, and cereal for breakfast!




Then we decided to walk to the plaza and the market.


Then we were picked up by our guide for the city tour. It included Sacsaywamen and Christ Statue








Tour ended in the Plaza square, we went back to hotel for dinner and called it the night.



The next day we decided to walk around Cusco before the chocolate museum tour.



Chocolate museum tour! We had fun making hot chocolate from beans two ways. Maya and European. Also made 70% chocolate pops to go!



That was the end of tour. We had a wonderful time!
