Photoshoot with Winnie, Jonathan, Gracie and Lauren

As much as I like to take pictures, doing photo shoot with a family requires patience and be able to social. Being an introvert, it's takes a lot of energy to shoot a family. First of all, getting to the location and hoping people don't come late otherwise the light gets dark is a stress, then seeing that the family is not really happy (except for the mom haha) being there in the beginning is also stressful. (after all, not many people like their photo taken)  I had to be engaged and ask them questions and entertain them. Posing is another difficult task. Thankfully this family is able to pose for me without too much prompting. At the end, all is well, getting a few good picture out of 100 of them is the goal, and hope that the client is happy with their photos is another yeah moment!

Make Your Yes, Yes, or No, No

This Thanksgiving week, Shawn Reese gives us the message. It was very easy to understand, so I want to share it here.
Question: Do we need to take an Oath?
The bible says, "do not swear an oath at all" Matthew 5:34
Answer: When we make promises, we say "I promise I'll take you to the game this weekend."
When we make oath, we say "I promise in the name of Jesus I'll take you to the game this weekend."
There is no need to make an oath, you should just do it. But in today's society, people don't trust each other, and oath is the way to get around it. So we make an oath when asked, but we don't necessary need to take an oath.

"We never more like God than when we keep our promises."
