Mount Sutro to Twin Peaks

Yesterday I stumbled upon Sutro Tower.

I thought of this verse...  "It is through senses we experience life."

1. eyes

I went to Mount Sutro yesterday. It is a magical forest within the city of SF.

You go in through 17th and Stanyan St. It's in between 2 houses. At first, it looks like someone's backyard, then soon you're in the forest. The place is stunning.

Then the trail leads me to twin peaks.... The spot in SF to view the whole city and the bay; the view was incredible

2. ears

I hear wind gusting and birds singing or flying at certain moments.

I had ear phones and was listening to "Blue Mind" while walking down the path.

3. nose

The scent of eucalyptus trees around me

4. mouth

Since I parked few blocks down from Zazie, one of the famous brunch place in SF,  I treated myself to

Un, Deux, Trois after the hike.

Pancake, 2 poach eggs, and 3 bacons. Clearly, it's a must for anyone at least once.

5. Feel

Sense of accomplishment... with the help of All trails, I was able to do this hike by myself.

That's all folks... it was a good day.

Bike from Chase Center to Pier 39

'What was the highlights for you?" I asked,

McCovey Cove; where giant's balls splash into here and kayaks rush out to get it.

I also witness people doing SUP.... one day, I'll try it.

Pier 48- Where FB had a party in 2012.... I almost forgot.

3rd street bridge; one of the oldest bridge in SF and still works

Bay bridge, Ferry building, Pier 7, Farmers market, Pier 39. and Sea lion statues.

The Lefty O'Doul Bridge

Francis "Lefty" O’Doul, didn't do well in 1923 with Boston Red Sox, then 1928, when he was 31, he went on become 2 time National League batting champion, then when he retired, he became a manager of SF Seals, and help develop Joe DiMaggio... the bridge is named after him in May 1933.

The bridge is designed by Joseph Strauss, who also design the Golden Gate Bridge.

Today, it's still works perfectly, opens for sailboats travel in and out of Mission Bay

Wave Organ

At the tip of the jetty, you will come to a magical spot that look like ruins of a Roman temple.

It's a sound sculpture made in 1986 by artist Peter Richards; it reminds of organs in Zadar, Croatia

The stone is salvaged from cemetery

Put your ear to the pipes during high tide, you will hear the amplified sounds of the tide.

You can walk to Crissy Field to see Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz

Vermont Street

Vermont Street runs from design district to Potrero Hill, past McKinley Square, through series of 7 S turns.

It is the most crooked street in the city. Lombard comes second

It has been used in movies such as Magnum Force, 1973 with Clint Eastwood

Bullitt, 1968 with Steve McQueen
