Angel Island the covid edition

We brought our own bikes to Angel Island

Stopped by Pier 39 to see the sea lions

Took blue and gold fleet ferry from Pier 41

Saying goodbye to the city

Angel Island has 5 mile perimeter trail paved road. We decided to bike around the island. I'm impressed with the awesome views everywhere you look.

We had picnic with the view of the city and Alcatraz island and the bridge

Stopped by Fort McDowell

The US Army was here from 1863. In 1899, they built a quarantine station for sick troops here. You can still see the remains of the hospital, barracks, a mess hall and the jail.

Overall it was worth the visit just for the views, picnic. We had to catch the ferry back otherwise we could have visited the immigration station. Next time!
