Black Friday

Evelyn convinced Cher, Chris, Jean, and Rei-Jing to wake up early and meet at Walmart at 3:30am. They waited until the store open at 5am. Then they purchased many items such as T.V., portable VCR, laptop, hard drive, mixer, camera, etc... Sounds like a fun experience. I might try it someday :)

Thanksgiving dinner

Thanksgiving dinner at Paul's parents house as usual. The food is always great, but this year we have a new addition... scooter! He was definitely the highlight of the night.

Hike Away!

We went on "Annette loop" walk on Thanksgiving day- it's about 4 miles from our house to Andronico's cross foothill expressway and back. The highlight of the walk is Quinn Hill, it's a climb and Charlie was pulling Monica on the way up :) The Fall color is really pretty.

Run Forrest Run 5k

I was searching for a good run when all of the sudden I spotted a run along ocean view ave. in Monterey... I immediately copy down the information and asked dear husband... He didn't say no but didn't seem too excited when I told him I would register for the whole family... The day before the race, everyone was not happy since we need to wake up at 6am.. And the Dammit run experience was horrible for Monica.. So she was bit upset in the morning of the run... As we approach Monterey, the ocean breeze was nice.. Soon we parked our car, we saw the 3k race just ended and there was a feast near Bubba Gump area. We know then that we will have this feast as soon as we complete our race.. The race started... the excitement of the count down and running along over 700 people was really fun. I was the last person behind again.. Timothy finished in 24:05 minutes. Monica and Daddy both finished around 32 minutes and I come in at 39 minutes..

The race was a well-organized and had a beautiful course.

Tour at Apple Hill

Apple Hill compose of a handful of fruit ranchers in El Dorado County.

It's a must-see destination for every NorCal foodie according to Mercury News.

We took advantage of the free Apple Hill shuttle on the weekends of October this year to explore Apple Hill.  Lots of people come here every year as their family tradition to enjoy arts/crafts, eat apple donuts,apple cider, apple pie, tri-tip sandwich, and apple everything..  Below is some of the stuff we experienced. ..
