Paul and I tried to go to Sakoon twice and both times they were too busy.
Since the kids are in L.A. tonight, we decided to give another try. Third time is a charm :) This place has nice ambience. an upscale indian restaurant. We ordered 2 appetizers and I think they are the best.
Scallops
Marinated in smoked paprika, served with mango and white bean salsa, cilantro, mint pistou
Tandoori Agaaz
A combination of Chicken Tikka, Tandoor shrimp and lamp chop.
The entrees pictures didn't turn out well... still, here is what we ordered
Seabass Tikka
Seabass prepared in Madras marinade and coconut, served with okra pachdi and asparagus rice pilaf- nice!
Saag Pasand Se
Spinach and mustard greens prepared with potatoe and corn served with traditional maka ki roti and butter- very healthy
We ordered a glass wine to share and finish our dinner with milk tea at Verde :) Good nite!
